Preserving History through Conservation
BearGulch Pictographs is located in central Montana, at the foothills of the beautiful Little Snowy Mountains. Spring and summer bring greens and browns that are breathtaking. Fall turns the hills and valleys into a plethora of colors from the turning leaves and ripening berries that are indigenous to this area. Winter wipes the slate clean by blanketing the ground with a layer of pure white snow. Any time of year, it's a sight to behold.

This land (and the pictograph site) have been in our family for 3 generations. It was purchased from the original homesteaders in the early 1900s.
Beargulch Pictographs is a remarkably well preserved and has been lauded as one of the best-preserved sites in the country. It has been very well documented, through photography, archeological digs and carbon dating. Our desire is to share the site for generations to come for enjoyment and education.
