Beargulch Pictographs is a remarkably well preserved site full of native paintings (pictographs) and etchings (petroglyphs). It has been lauded as one of the best-preserved sites in the country. This site has been extensively documented through tracings, photography, archeological digs and carbon dating. Our desire is to share the site for generations to come for enjoyment and education.

This land (and the pictograph site) have been in our family for 3 generations. It was purchased from the original homesteaders in the early 1900s. Its history goes far beyond that though and we are still learning about it today.
BearGulch Pictographs is located in central Montana, at the foothills of the beautiful Little Snowy Mountains. With our ongoing work to trails and our newly built and dedicated visitor's center, we are working tirelessly to create an exciting and unforgettable experience for our visitors.
